FAQs
What makes your jewellery unique?
Our jewellery is crafted by hand at our small studio in the heart of Ireland, ensuring each piece is a unique work of art. We focus on handmade designs, quality materials, and a commitment to creating distinctive pieces.
Is customization available for your jewellery?
Absolutely! We specialize in made-to-order jewellery, allowing you to customize various aspects such as gemstones, metals, and design elements. Any available customization will be on each product listing. If there is something you would like to have done to a piece but it is not an option, just drop us an email and we can see what we can do!
What materials do you use in your jewellery?
We use metals, such as 9ct gold, sterling silver, gold vermeil, gold filled accessories and carefully selected gemstones such as pearls. All of our pieces use either solid gold, sterling silver. Our commitment to quality ensures that your jewellery stands the test of time.
Gold Vermeil
All gold vermeil pieces are made in solid sterling silver and heavily plated in 18k yellow gold. All of the chains used for gold vermeil pendants are gold filled (read more about gold filled below).
For a piece to be considered gold vermeil it must have a minimum of 2.5 micron layer of gold and be a sterling silver base metal. All our pieces have a 3 micron layer and are made using solid sterling silver.
How to care for your pieces:
- Remove jewellery before swimming or exercising
- Put on your jewellery after cosmetics have been absorbed
- Do not spray perfume directly on jewellery.
- Remove your pieces before using harsh hand sanitisers etc.
- Buff jewellery with a micro-fibre cloth after cleaning
- Keep jewellery in a sealed bag
Gold Filled
Gold filled uses a mechanical process to bond a layer of gold to a brass base metal using heat and pressure. Gold filled jewellery must contain 5% gold by weight to be considered gold filled, which means the gold coating is generally much thicker than that of plated jewellery.
All the chains I use for my pendants are gold filled and quite durable. I still advise to follow the recommendations for gold vermeil jewellery above when caring for your gold filled chains.
How do I find my ring size?
Our sizing guide can assist you in finding the perfect fit for your ring. You can also purchase one of our ring sizers or visit a local jeweller to get professionally measured.
Do you offer jewellery repair services?
Yes, we provide jewellery repair services. Contact us for details on how to proceed with repairs, resizing, or any other maintenance needs.
Made to Order pieces
Our made to order pieces can take up to 4 weeks for us to dispatch as we only make the once an order has been placed. If your order contains both a made to order piece and a ready to ship piece, please be aware that we will wait until all pieces are ready before dispatching your order.
If you require the ready to ship piece sooner I would recommend doing two separate orders.
As always, if you have any queries or questions just drop us a message!
What is the turnaround time for bespoke pieces?
The turnaround time for custom-made jewellery varies based on the complexity of the design. We provide estimated timelines on each product listing. However, if you need something by a particular date, do get in touch before ordering and we will see what we can do to help out!
How can I care for my jewellery to ensure longevity?
Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, remove jewellery during activities, and store it in a safe place when not in use. We provide care instructions on our website to help you maintain the beauty of your jewellery.
